At Chest of Hope, our services focus in the following 3 areas: Education, Intervention and Support.
Education
There are many ways in which Domestic Violence could be prevented, so we interact with our community to educate and inform, utilizing the following forums:
- Annual Salad Luncheon
- Leave Out Violence Everyday
- Annual L.O.V.E Walk in October
- Interactions with Community and Religious Groups, Individuals, Human Service Providers and Public Safety Officials
- Teen Dating Violence Youth Program
- Financial Literacy and Job Readiness
- Parenting Classes
Intervention
With the objective of assisting individuals in achieving their long-term goal of living violence free, we respond to the victim’s immediate, crisis-driven needs. We address safely issues and ensure victims’ access to critically needed intervention services from Attorneys, Clergy, Courts, Law Enforcement, Medical Practitioners, Therapists, etc.:

- Access to Shelters or other Housing Providers
- Court accompaniment
- Risk Assessment and Safety Planning
- Reporting crimes anonymously
- Restraining Orders
Support
In order to help with the healing process and be empowered for a fresh start, we provide nonjudgmental compassionate support as follows:
- Case Management
- Individual and Group Counseling
- Human Trafficking Victims shelter for ages 18-27 years
- Transitional Individual Housing
- Transitional Family Housing
